The numbers

when you do not care to live life with love while it is around

when you think loving and caring really dont matter now, as long as you are spending time worrying and planning those numbers for your future

when you can hurt thinking the only thing that values is the numbers

obviously you will do very well in life

you will have the numbers in your statement

you will have them every month while you live

but my dear, you will have only that.

the love you pushed away, the life you refused to live

the smiles you found too silly, the peace you shut your doors at

will probably not give you a second chance

and when you close your eyes on the final day

make sure you have a lap to rest your head on

and a pair of eyes that will not let you go

because my dear, the numbers, they can give you everything but these.

  1. Ha .. interesting!
However very immature and short-sighted.. must say!

In life, you are expected to grow and learn from experiences, from people around you..

Numbers, or as they ‘subtly’ point at – Money is not everything. Agreed. hands down.
However having a rigid point of view is not what is expected of a mature individual.

I want to ask a few questions to everyone seeing this –

what is that you want to do most?

Eat a pizza, Chocolate fantasy, go to Italy on a holiday, buy and hence decorate your own house, own and run a business, have a team that will work for you 24×7!
Can you get or do all this without having ‘the money’ in your life!!

Emotions, Love, Understanding is important but needs to be balanced by a thoroughly practical sense of thought. A house or a car or your bike may have immense emotional value for you however do you think a bank [which gives you a loan for buying them] will waive off your loan or not take away your assets just coz you Love them??

I know all this sounds very rude and rough on tender eotions but that is the harsh reality of today’s times. Love is important, nothing denying that but sadly in this materialistic world of today, it is mostly weighed in “the money”

I am a student of life and have a very practical outlook to things. i have my priorities in life for me and my family. Your priorities are different.
I believe most of the things can be bought by money and can give you happiness, the ones which cannot shall not give you happiness.

There are tons of references in day-to-day life that can be quoted here, however it is just for oneself to realize the reality, the same way we realize that terrorism and corruption is part of our lives.

    Think, Learn and Grow!
